During the ACHEMA 2009 PROTEGO® introduced the new Calculation Programm which is now available.
The new PROTEGO® sizing program calculates the venting requirements for normal and emergency venting of atmospheric and low pressure storage tanks according to the new ISO 28300 Standard. In addition to the new ISO 28300 venting requirements the sizing program also covers calculations according to API 2000 5th Edition and TRbF 20. Firstly the user can easily determine the required volume flow. Then the user can size different PROTEGO® Valves including Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves either with or without flame arresters and Emergency Vents.
